Why it’s critical to use the latest version of your web browser
Cole AD always build our client websites to look great across all different types of browsers & devices, plus we always recommend using the latest versions of your web browser to get the best user experience possible. With that in mind, we have to bring to attention the need for browser security as a serious issue and feel we must address this as Microsoft themselves have now made have some big changes.
Internet Explorer has been the mainstay of all PC computers for many years, but now it’s time to update. Microsoft announced that from the 12th of January 2016, they will no longer be supporting the older versions of their Internet Explorer web browser, particularly versions 8, 9 & 10. What this means is that Microsoft will no longer be providing security updates for these browser versions, making them vulnerable to viruses, malware, malicious attacks and potential theft of your online identify and credit card information.

What’s the good news from this move by Microsoft you ask? Well, it encourages customers to stay up-to-date on the latest browser for a faster, more secure browsing experience.
With so many people now using tablets and smartphones to access web content, and doing so many transactions and shopping online on these devices, it only makes sense to also have a secure, up-to-date browsing experience on your desktop computer as well.
