Giffnock Village Store

December 18, 2015

This was a first for us!

Working with our client Giffnock Village Store and Royal Mail to revamp their corner shop.

Initially they wanted us just to produce some window graphics and signage patch-ups, but as the new owners of the store we really made them look at how dark and unwelcoming the shop had become, plus Royal Mail wanted more from them further pushing their own business into the background.

So we changed everything! We removed everything from the shop front, going back to a full floor to ceiling glass frontage allowing natural light to flood back into the previously dingy store; We created a warm village like brand that reflected the new owners; We developed new Post Office signage that allowed the store equal prominence; We painted the shop exterior; We changed and moved the shop counter.

The shop got a full makeover with limited budget. We also worked within a very tight timescale that fitted in with the internal Post Office refit. All in all, it was a great job to work on, a responsive client who really understood the creative process that allowed us to create the best for them
