CREATe and University of Glasgow – Design

Client: CREATe and University of Glasgow – Design

Services used:

CREATe, RCUK Centre for Copyright and New Business Models in the Creative Economy, based at the University of Glasgow, investigates the future of creative production in the digital age, and in particular the role of copyright. The Centre brings together an interdisciplinary consortium of academics seven UK universities (Glasgow, East Anglia, Edinburgh, Goldsmiths University of London, Nottingham, St Andrews, and Strathclyde), and over 80 industry, public sector and civil society partners.

Cole AD was chosen to design the ‘CREATe 2012-2016 Legacy Report’  (76 pp) showcasing CREATe’s findings over the 4 year period. The report, edited by Kerry Patterson and Sukhpreet Singh (both at the University of Glasgow), was launched at the RSA House in London on 24 June. We impressed the client with our friendly approach, passion and exciting illustrations including ‘The Musical Scientist’ (see pg 47), who was a big hit with crowd of over 200 delegates.

“My thanks to Cole AD – the response to the Legacy Report was tremendous and the research showcase Festival was a huge success.”

Dr Sukhpreet Singh, CREATe Programme Leader and Director (MSc@CREATe)
